My Path to Coaching
My professional journey began in service. As a Peace Corps volunteer, I was inspired by the resilience and creativity of leaders working in resource-limited contexts. Over the last two decades, my work in higher education, global health, and human capital consulting brought me into organizations tackling some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Through these experiences, my understanding of what sets exceptional leaders apart expanded beyond expertise or strategy. It is about how we show up, build trust, and navigate complexity with courage.
Over time, I found myself curious about the conversations and realizations behind the scenes. The moments when leaders noticed for themselves where they felt stretched thin or disconnected from their own sense of purpose. I began coaching to support leaders not just in what they do, but in who they are becoming.
My Coaching Style
Informed by leadership coach training at Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership, I seek to bring curiosity and warmth to coaching conversations. I blend deep listening, insightful questioning, and practical tools to help you move forward with intention. Clients see me as a supportive and strategic partner who helps them untangle complexity while holding space for their own wisdom to emerge.
I believe leadership is a reflective practice that requires discernment and action. I am especially drawn to the concept of "contemplatives in action" (to use an Ignatian term), leaders who seek to balance the inner work of self-awareness with purposeful leadership in the world. In this vein, I offer grounding practices to reconnect with yourself amid the busyness of leadership and life.
Whether you are seeking clarity, momentum, or space to reconnect with yourself, I would love to support you in your journey.
